Ayeisha Henderson-Matthews is a Founder of Mu Alpha Rho Military Sorority, Inc. Originally from Queens, New York, she is a retired United States Air Force veteran who completed 20 years of honorable service. During her distinguished military career, she served in the fields of Information Management, Knowledge Operations, and Administration, developing extensive experience in organizational leadership, communication, operations, and service.
Founder Henderson-Matthews also brings more than a decade of sorority leadership experience. Her previous leadership roles include serving as a Chartering Chapter President and State Director for a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Through these positions, she has demonstrated a strong commitment to sisterhood, community engagement, organizational development, and mission-driven leadership.
She earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice and is currently pursuing dual graduate degrees: a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health and a Doctorate in Psychology. Her continued educational journey reflects her dedication to personal growth, mental wellness, service, and empowering others.
In retirement, Founder Henderson-Matthews continues to serve as an evangelist, visionary, mompreneur, motivational speaker, and philanthropist. She is devoted to inspiring others, strengthening communities, and creating meaningful opportunities for women and families.
Founder Henderson-Matthews resides in Florida with her husband and their two daughters.
