Our commitment

Mu Alpha Rho Military Sorority, Inc. does not discriminate against, exclude from participation in, or deny the benefits of its charitable programs and services to any person on the basis of age, race, color, ethnicity, national origin, ancestry, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital status, veteran status, socioeconomic background, or any other status protected by applicable law.

We do not advocate, support, or practice discrimination, and we conduct our activities, partnerships, and community service in keeping with these principles.

Programs and services open to the community

Our charitable programs — including mentorship, family readiness, relief, scholarships, and community service initiatives — are designed to benefit the communities we serve and are made available without regard to the protected characteristics listed above.

Membership eligibility

As a sisterhood for military women, membership in Mu Alpha Rho is open to women who currently serve or have honorably served in the United States Armed Forces and who meet our published eligibility requirements. These are good-faith criteria that define who may join the membership organization. They are separate from, and do not limit, who may receive the benefits of our charitable programs and services, which remain open to the community as described above.
